Thank you for all of your support in 2025!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our supporters, partners and volunteers for all of their incredible support this year.

Some of our key achievements in 2025 include:
- Supporting over 1,000 survivors through our counselling, ISVA and Support Line services.
- Securing £44,962 from South Western Railway to fund our ISVA outreach work, plus the opportunity to have our messaging taken county-wide through the SWR network.
- In April, our team of 10 runners in the London Landmarks Half Marathon raised a fantastic £7,200 between them.
- Speaking to over 450 secondary school pupils across Surrey in bespoke workshops and assemblies.
- Talented supporter Susanne, who sold her hand painted shells for RASASC, raising over £1,000.
- Getting our messages out through delivering talks to the WI, Bupa, Surrey Police, Soroptimists Surrey Hills and the NHS.
- Incredible supporter Felicity who shaved her head and raised over £520.
- Meeting and chatting to students at Godalming College, The University of Surrey, UCA Farnham and Brooklands College, among others.
- Having stands at lots of events including: Pride in Surrey, The Surrey Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls Conference, Godalming Safety Fair, and the High Sheriff Youth Awards Garden Party.
- Having a presence at the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) roundtable discussion hosted by MP Helen Maguire in September.
- £60,000 funding from Waverly Borough Council over three years to support ISVA work in Waverly.
- Hosting visits by the High Sheriff of Surrey, The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey, the Lord Lieutenant for Surrey, Zoe Franklin, MP for Guildford, and Helen Maguire, MP for Epsom and Ewell.
- Amazing supporter Maggie, who was due to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon for us but had to pull out due to injury – them went on to complete the Boston Marathon for RASASC instead!
- £5,000 from The Community Foundation for Surrey towards our rent.
- Joining the Act on IICSA event at the Houses of Parliament to highlight the lack of action since the final report from the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) report was published in 2022.
- Fabulous supporters Clare and Liz who took on Swim Serpentine, raising £1,124.
- Our ongoing #ThisWorks Christmas Campaign, highlighting the transformative effect RASASC’s support has on the survivors we work with.
- Rounding off the year with coverage on the BBC and an interview on BBC Radio Surrey with our CEO Daisy and survivor Elle, to highlight the services we provide.
What an incredible year!
We are always humbled and grateful at the lengths supporters go to to raise money to support our life-changing work with survivors of rape and sexual abuse across Surrey.
Whether you took on an event, made a donation, gave to our Christmas Appeal
or supported our work through volunteering, none of this would be possible without your support. Thank you so much.

We’re pleased with the news that children who have experienced child sexual abuse and exploitation are now to be considered in the new Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) strategy, as announced by MP Jess Phillips. The new VAWG strategy was due to be published in the summer, but has now been pushed back towards the end of 2025. We will have to wait until the final strategy is released to see the impact it will have for those concerned. RASASC was part of a large contingent of signatories on an open letter to the Home Secretary, requesting that victims of child sexual abuse and exploitation be included within the VAWG strategy. We are delighted that this action has had a positive impact. Following several delays and a degree of mystery surrounding what will be in the final version, we sincerely hope that the completed VAWG strategy has heeded the advice and recommendations from experts, to deliver an effective and fully resourced plan of action.
