Volunteer Counsellors
As our counselling service is growing and meeting new needs for our clients, we are keen to invite new
volunteer counsellors to join our service.
We are looking for:
- experienced and newly-qualified counsellors
- counsellors who are able to work remotely via telephone and video
- counsellors who are able to work both face-to-face as well as remotely
- counsellors who are BACP registered or equivalent, and can work on a voluntary basis with survivors of rape and sexual abuse in Surrey, offering both long and short term one-to-one work with clients.
In return, we offer free, three-weekly group supervision, six free trauma-related training workshops per year, travel expenses (where applicable), and membership of a team of mutually-supportive counsellors, supervisors and the RASASC organisational network, all of whom are passionate about our work. There are also occasional social gatherings!

You can really make a difference.
