Independent Sexual Violence Advisor
We're looking for an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) to join our friendly team.
ISVAs are advocates who support survivors of rape and sexual abuse, helping them to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse they have experienced.
An ISVA provides individual support and this will vary from client to client, but it could be advising on the Criminal Justice System, liaising with a survivor's employer on their behalf, helping them access GP appointments and advising on suitable services for that individual.
ISVAs have a full and varied caseload that will include survivors progressing through the criminal justice process as well as survivors that have decided not to report. You will be based at our office in Guildford, but will have clients all over Surrey, so you will need to have a full driving licence and access to a car that you can use for work purposes.
To find out more, read the job description, and to apply, complete both the application and equal opportunities forms and return them both to Liz at admin@rasasc-guildford.org by the closing date of Tuesday 24 February.
