2026 Victims Survey now open
The 2026 Victims Survey is now open to anyone aged 16+ who has been affected by crime since January 2021, regardless of whether you reported to the police or not.
It is the only national, independent survey that gathers insights directly from victims across all crime types and stages of the justice process.
The survey is completely anonymous and takes around 15 minutes to complete. Taking part in the survey helps the Victims’ Commissioner understand what is working, where improvements are needed, and helps to shape the recommendations she makes to improve outcomes for victims.
The survey is available in both English or Welsh, and is open from 8 April to 6 May 2026.
