30 years of RASASC

To help us continue to be there for all survivors, could you take

on our 30 for 30 challenge?

RASASC have been supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse across Surrey for over 30 years. To help us continue to be there for everyone that needs us, could you take on a challenge and raise £30 towards our work?

What is the 30 for 30 challenge?

The 30 for 30 challenge helps to recognise that we have been supporting survivors for over 30 years, as well as raising awareness and support for our vital work. The challenge is very simple, you do 30 things with the aim of raising £30 for RASASC!

What, when and how you do the challenge is up to you! Have a look at our short video below for a few ideas:

What can I do?

Absolutely anything, the choice is up to you! Score 30 goals, run 30 laps of your garden, make 30 cakes, run for 30 minutes, wash 30 cars – what you do is up to you, the important thing is to get sponsored for doing it, and to aim to raise £30.

Some easy ways you could get involved:

  • Support RASASC in the Guildford Community Lottery, and help us get to 30 players!
  • Shop online and support RASASC at the same time through AmazonSmile - help us get 30 supporters signed up!
  • Display a RASASC collecting box in your shop or business - on average they raise £30 every six weeks
  • Having a clear out? Support us through ebay for charity. You could sell 30 things, or pledge to donate 30% of the final sale price for your items.
  • Share our Give as you Live page with 30 friends - Give as you Live is an online shopping portal that raises money for RASASC while you shop!
  • How about getting your business or workplace involved in the 30 for 30 Challenge? Challenge your colleagues to a bake off or a team fitness challenge!

What If I can’t raise £30?

You can still take part! £30 is just a guide, but please don’t worry if you can’t raise this much, we are grateful for all donations, and they will be used to fund our vital work with survivors of rape and sexual abuse.

How do I record sponsorship?

You can set up a fundraising page on JustGiving, to collect donations. All donations made through our page come directly to us without you having to do anything!

If you'd prefer, you can download and print off our sponsor form, and once you’ve completed your event, you can pay in any sponsorship money through our website as a one-off donation. Just add ‘30 for 30 challenge’ in the message so we know it’s from your fabulous fundraising efforts!

Or if you prefer, you can pay your donation by bank transfer, our bank account details are:

CAF Bank, 25 Kings Hill Avenue, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent ME19 4JQ

Account number: 00009436 Sort Code 40-52-40

Please reference 30 for 30 along with your donation.

When can I do my event?

There's no time limit on when you can do your event, winter or summer, the choice is up to you! If you have any questions, or need any advice and support, please email: events@rasasc-guildford.org

What can RASASC do with £30?

To give you an idea where the money raised may go, here is an example of what £30 could mean to each of our services

£30

could pay for half an hour of counselling

£30

would cover one 90 minute helpline group supervision per month

£30

could buy 10 personal alarms for survivors

£30

could pay for an hour and a half of one-on-one time with an ISVA

*Please note, cost examples do not take into account on costs and supervision costs*
