A PGA Golf professional from Windlesham is taking on a new challenge by running his first ever half marathon on behalf of RASASC.
33-year-old Chris is more at home running his Windlesham-based business buying and selling golf equipment but has taken on the challenge in support of survivors of rape and sexual abuse across Surrey.
“I’m really pleased to be given this opportunity to run for RASASC Guildford, I became interested in the charity’s work through a family member who works for them.
“I was unaware of the huge impact sexual abuse has on survivors and it is wonderful that organisations such as RASASC are there to support them. Sadly, there is a huge need for services like those provided by RASASC, and they are dependent on raising funds to deliver their work.
“Please help me raise as much as possible to help RASASC support many more people through their counselling and advocacy work, providing therapeutic, practical and emotional support to survivors.”
Good luck to Chris, from all of us at RASASC!
