Our free, confidential helpline now open on Thursdays

Our free and confidential helpline is now also open on Thursdays.

Survivors of rape and sexual abuse and their families, can call us each Monday – Thursday evening between 7.30pm – 9.30pm for information, emotional advice and support.

Our specially trained advisors can help callers make informed decisions to help them on their recovery journey, including signposting to other services such as the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).

Run for RASASC in the Vitality Big Half

Want to get fit this year and do something great at the same time? Then why not run for RASASC in the Vitality Big Half on Sunday 22 August?

The Vitality Big Half, managed by the organisers of the world renowned London Marathon, is a community half marathon set in the heart of the capital.  The event follows much of the route of the London Marathon and takes in the iconic landmarks of the capital. Starting by Tower Bridge, the course travels through Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham before finishing in Greenwich

All we ask, is our runners raise a minimum of £100 towards our vital work supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse across Surrey.

In return, we’ll give you a RASASC running vest, plus support and handy hints and tips to help you in your training.

Sound like the challenge for you? If you would like to take one of our places, and can commit to raising a minimum of £100, then we’d love to hear from you. Please email caroline@rasasc-guildford.org to register your interest.

VAWG public survey

The Home Office are conducting a survey as part of their Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) strategy. This is a public survey for survivors, their families and professionals working in the sector. If you have experience of, or views on rape, sexual abuse and violence against women and girls, you can complete the survey on the GOV.UK website.

A separate survey specifically aimed at survivors of VAWG is also planned and this will be distributed through specialist support services. However, survivors may complete this public survey as well, should they wish to.

Please note: Some of the questions within the survey may have a personal impact on you.
